eSPARK International Summer School on Experimental Electrochemistry

Institute of Physical Chemistry of the Polish Academy of Sciences (address: Kasprzaka 44/52) is located in the heart of the green and modern Wola district, in direct contact with the city center. An important location advantage is the proximity to the main airport – Warsaw Chopin Airport, located only 10 km from the Institute. This distance can be covered in about 20 minutes by taxi (Uber, Bolt, Freenow or city taxis for about PLN 50 (EUR 10)). Moreover, a highly developed public transport network allows you to reach the Institute by metro (the nearest station of the M2 line: Płocka), by bus (lines 103, 105, 178, 255) or tram (lines: 10, 11, 26, 27, 78) from the nearest Szpital Wolski stop. There is also a developed network of urban and suburban trains in Warsaw (lines S3 and S4 at Warszawa Wola station, perfectly connected with Warsaw Central Railway Station (Warszawa Centralna), Warsaw West (Warszawa Zachodnia) and Warsaw East (Warszawa Wschodnia) railway stations). Suburban trains also run to the second, smaller and slightly more distant airport – Warsaw-Modlin Airport, located 40 km from the Institute of Physical Chemistry. If you get to Warsaw Modlin Airport, we recommend using taxis (cost approximately PLN 150 (EUR 30)).

When you get close to the Institute, you can enter through the main entrance from Kasprzaka Street or through the gate from Płocka Street, where pedestrian and car traffic is possible.
